GiGi’s Playhouse Deerfield is a very local nonprofit organization that provides FREE therapeutic, educational, and life-skills programs to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. From prenatal support through career skills for adults, Gigi’s Playhouse is there for families every step of the way. Down syndrome is the number one chromosomal anomaly in the country and the least funded by the government, and that is where GiGi’s steps in. They work hard to prepare kids and adults for the world while at the same time educating the world on inclusion and acceptance for all.
